Watson's Creek Track - Kinglake National Park

The Watson's Creek Track is in the extreme southern section of the Kinglake National Park, 65 km NE of Melbourne.

It follows a spurline, along a ridge through bushland, with good views over the rugged and generally inaccessible Watson's Creek Valley, and to the surrounding hills.

This section of the Park is being expanded, with the addition of land purchased from Melbourne Water, which had been set aside some years ago for the Little Watson's Creek Reservoir. That plan was abandoned, when the Sugarloaf reservoir was commissioned.

I did this 6 km hike on March 17, 2007.
