Ferguson's Paddock is a large reserve in the outer suburban settlement of Hurstbridge, 30 km NE of Melbourne.
It offers open spaces, bushland, wetlands, bridges, picnic area, barbecue, rosellas, kookaburras, and a good shared walking/cycling track.
The track forms part of the Peter Brock Trail, which continues to the settlement of Diamond Creek.
The Diamond Creek flows through the Reserve.
I visited the Reserve on September 25, 2007.
A scenic route to Hurstbridge is via Warrandyte, along the Warrandyte-Kangaroo Ground Rd, then through Wattle Glen. There are excellent views of the Upper Yarra Valley from this road.
