Jumping Creek clifftop Trail, Warrandyte State Park

The cliff-top Trail runs between the Jumping Creek Picnic Reserve and the old gold mining area of Black Flat, Warrandyte State Park, 25 km east of the Melbourne CBD.

It follows the sweeping bend of the Yarra River, down below, with excellent views.

Some parts of the Track are stony, steep, and rough, but the views are worth it!

I explored this Track on November 19, 2007, a "warm" day of 37 degrees.
