Sherbrooke Forest is part of the Dandenong Ranges National Park, 40 km east of Melbourne.
It has many excellent walking tracks, some leading to the Sherbrooke Falls, passing through tall timber and ferns.
I visited the Forest on November 18, 2007, exploring the Sherbrooke, Hillclimb, Ridge and Link Tracks, and the Sherbrooke Falls.
A thunderstorm opened up during the trip, which appeared from nowhere, leaving me soaked, then blue skies returned!
