Manna Gum Track - Olinda Forest - Dandenong Ranges NP

The Manna Gum Track links Silvan Rd with Boundary Rd, in the Olinda Forest, Dandenong Ranges National Park, 40 km east of the Melbourne CBD.

The track is very steep, with a change in altitude from 465 m to 341 m in 1 km!

It passes alongside the Arboretum, and follows the Lyrebird Creek Gully, through beautiful tall forest and fern gullies.

I hiked this 2 km (return) track on November 15, 2007 - very hot and humid in the forest!

The photos of my trip are at Manna Gum Track
