Sherbrooke Forest - Welch Track and Puffing Billy

The Welch Track is a very 3km (return) steep trail in the southern section of the Sherbrooke Forest, Dandenong Ranges National Park, 45 km east of the Melbourne CBD.

It starts at Nation Rd, Selby, passing through fern gullies and bushland, reaching the junction of Coles Ridge Tk and the Old Monbulk Rd, about 1 km away.

The Puffing Billy steam railway is nearby!

I explored this track on March 31, 2008.

See my Photos of this trip!
