Mechanics Track - Mt Dandenong

The Mechanics Track is in the scenic Mechanics Reserve, and links the Olinda Falls with the Mt. Dandenong Tourist Rd, Mt Dandenong, 35 km east of Melbourne, adjacent to the Dandenong Ranges National Park.

The Track is 4 km return, passing through lush fern gullies and tall forest. It is steep in parts, very muddy, and follows the Olinda Creek.

I explored this Track on September 2, 2008
