These pix were taken on December 10, 2012, along the Plenty River Trail, Montmorency, 20 km NE of central Melbourne.
My 3 km (return) hike started at the South Montmorency Football Ground, off Para Rd, then following the river, past the Montmorency Secondary College and other sporting areas.
There were some nice views of the river, which was crossed by a footbridge.
