This 3.5 km (return) Trail links Smith Gully Rd with St Andrews, about
40 km NE of Melbourne. Former goldmining precinct of the 1920s-1930s.
Devastated by the 1962 fires - the forest is now mainly regrowth. Track
is narrow, winding, rocky, and hilly.
Remains of the sluice channels are
visible, but becoming overgrown by encroaching vegetation. Queenstown
Cemetery is nearby - this was the original name for St Andrews.
