Circuit Hike in Westerfolds Park

The Manor

Feb 11 2015 was a very hot day, so I did a 2 km circuit hike in Westerfolds's Park, starting at the Westerfolds Manor car-park. The Manor and adjacent indigenous gardens are owned by Parks Vic, and has now been provisionally leased for 21 years to Westerfolds Kitchen, which also manages the Boathouse at Yarra Bend Park. 

The Mia Mia Gallery tenants were evicted some months ago due to non-payment of rent. 

Occupancy and refurbishment is held up pending the outcome of a Planning Approval. submisssion. 

When and if completed, the incoming tenants propose a multi-purpose facility, including  bike hire, cafe and conference centre.
