Donnelley's Weir Park - Healesville

Photos of March 30, 2018. The route started at the main carpark at the end of Donnolley's Weir Rd, then past the Weir through the picnic ground, and crossed Road 12. Then along the unsigned track, overlooking the Creek, to Road 15, and returning via Donnolleys Weir Rd.  About one hour.

The blackened remains of many tree ferns are grim testimony to the February 2009 fires which devastateded the area, which is within the Melbourne Water Catchment region.

The National Trail starts here, on its long journey to Northern Queensland.

Road 12 continues to Mt St Leonards.

  1. Howdy Bob, This is a very nice forested area here with great walking tracks, a beautiful little creek and the weir is looking really good, there seemed to be a lot of people there enjoying themselves also, thank you for sharing these superb photos and best regards! Michael
