I am pleased to advise that I've published a new, free, on-line Heritage Research Project, which describes the construction, evolution and operations of Balloch's Midlothian Bakery, Stables and adjacent Grainstore in Auburn Rd, East Hawthorn (Auburn),
It spans the years from 1880 to 1967, and includes many rare plans, maps, diagrams, articles and images.
A Chapter has also been included which looks back on my childhood experiences and recollections whilst growing up in Auburn, next door to the Bakery, from 1939 to 1959.
