Warrandyte State Park - Mt Lofty in late Spring
These pix were taken on Nov 25 2013 on a 2 km (return) hike to the Mt Lofty Summit, starting at the gate on Homestead Rd, near the canoe launching ramp
The views are always impressive!
The highest point has a geodetic survey marker - this is hard to find, but it's on a raised embankment on the edge of Stephen Track, north of the junction with the 4WD track leading down to the Yarra water point, past the picnic table.
