This was a 2 km hike in the Kelstrel Creek bushland, Westerfolds' Park, Templestowe.
 

My journey started and finished at the Porter St picnic area.

Westerfold's Park.- south west bushland section

These pix were taken on March 30, 2013, in the south- western (bushland) section of Westerfold's Park.
 

This was a 3 km exploratory hike, starting at the upper car park, then south over the hills and down to the Yarra, crossing the Main Yarra Trail and Kestral Creek.

Homeshow Trail - Westerfold's Park.

These pix were taken on March 18 2013 on the Homeshow Trail, Westerfold's Park.
  The Trail and side-tracks is about 2 km, a circuit around the Kestral Creek.

Large colored information boards along the trail describe the creatures which inhabit this bushland region.

The Trail links with the Main Yarra Trail.
