The 7 km Mt. Evelyn Aqueduct Trail follows the alignment of the old aqueduct, in the municipalities of Silvan and Mt. Evelyn, 40 km east of Melbourne.
The Trail passes through the Dandenong Ranges National Park, bushland, fern gullies, and bird habitats.
There are views of Mt Dandenong from high points.
I completed the north-western section of the Trail on September 30 and October 1, 200l7, having already walked the southtern section some months ago.

This walk is included in my new (free!) INTERNET GUIDE TO SHORT WALKS IN VICTORIA, which contains details of nearly 400 short walks I have completed since 2005 and the present. This very comprehensive Guide is updated whenever I complete a new walk - it includes links to Trail Notes, Maps, the Photo Albums, with the walks arranged in geographical order. Comments welcome!
