The Maroondah Forest Walking track starts at the Maroondah Reservoir Park Picnic Ground, 60 km east of Melbourne, near the town of Healesville, and climbs steadily to the Maroondah Lookout.
It crosses the Watts River, passing through fern gullies and tall timber.
The Lookout offers a splendid panorama across the Reservoir, to the peaks of Mt Riddell and Mt Juliet.
