Eastern Section of Lysterfield Lake Park

The north-eastern section of the Lysterfield Lake Park, 35 km east of Melbourne, offers excellent bushwalking, nice views towards the Dandenong Ranges, huge granite outcrops, and pleasant forest.

On August 21 2007 I hiked about 6 km, along Lane's Tk, Ballart Tk, Abraham's Tk and the Dargon Tk.

My journey started and finished at the access gate at Ryan's Rd.

The highest point reached was 215m - the lowest was 130m.

The turnaround point was the Birdsland Lake.
